Frewert Road, Lathrop <br /> General Plan: AIG Community: None <br /> Zoning: AG-40 APN: 191-260-23 <br /> Project Size: 5 acres Parcel Size: 12.7 acres <br /> Water Supply: Well Sewage Disposal: Septic tank <br /> Storm Drainage: On-site 100-Year Flood: No <br /> Williamson Act: No Supervisorial District: 3 <br /> Staff: Kai Luoma CEQA Determination: Negative Declaration <br /> Project Description <br /> This application is for a Use Permit for a wholesale slaughterhouse to include a 6,700-square-footabattoir <br /> (slaughterhouse),a 2,400-square-footnon-residential mobile home to be used as an office building,a 3,200- <br /> square-foot agricultural storage building, a 25,000-square-foot barn, and a 4,000-square-foot freezer to be <br /> completed in two phases over five years. The freezer will be constructed as Phase 2. <br /> A maximum of five hundred (500) animals per day may be slaughtered. Animals will be kept in an existing <br /> 25,000-square-foot barn and generally slaughtered within twelve hours of arrival at the facility. Though not a <br /> feedlot, animals will occasionally be held for greater periods of time, up to a maximum of forty-eight hours, <br /> and will be fed.
