A portable irrigation pump and motor on the north bank of Little John Creek is leaking oil and/or <br /> fuel onto the ground. <br /> An inspection of the site on September 28,2010 by the EHD and California Fish&Game found the <br /> irrigation pump motor leaking oil and fuel onto the ground. A 5 x 4 feet stain is present under the motor. <br /> Violation: Please be advised that disposal of hazardous waste at an unauthorized point is a <br /> violation of Health and Safety Code§251895. <br /> Corrective Action: Repair the irrigation pump and motor to prevent more oil and diesel spills. <br /> Have the soil contamination from the oil/diesel spill cleaned up by a properly trained hazardous <br /> waste cleanupO,company. An EHD inspector must be on scene to witness the soil cleanup. <br /> A-Notification of Hazardous Waste Discharge"report was filed with the California Department of Toxic <br /> Substances Control and the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board pursuant to Health and <br /> Safety Code§25180.7. The site will be placed on the EHD list of contaminated sites in San Joaquin <br /> County if the cleanup is not verified to be complete.
