APPLICANT: Tony Singh 16101 West Grant Line Road 7476 West Lake Mead Boulevard, Tracy, CA 95304 Suite 100 Las Vegas, NV 89128 PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A One-Year Time Extension application for a previously approved Use Permit application to expand an existing neighborhood religious assembly facility with a maximum of 170 members into a regional religious assembly facility with a maximum of 700 members in two phases over five years. Phase 1 includes the construction of a 31,638 square foot multi-purpose assembly hall for educational programs and recreational activities and conversion of an existing 6,150 square foot agricultural building into a storage building. Phase 2, to be completed within five years, includes the construction of a 20,555 square foot social hall with a kitchen, dining area, and retreat area. No additional members are proposed with phase two.This parcel is not under a Williamson Act contract. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located on the north side of West Grant Line Road, 985 feet east of Hansen Road, Tracy(APN/Address: 209-190-33/16215 West Grant Line Road, Tracy)(Supervisorial District: 5). ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration may be proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration will be available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than July 4, 2018. Comments or recommendations received after that date would not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. The County's Development Committee will review this application on July 11, 2018. NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this project. You will receive notice of the date, time, and place of the public hearing at a later date.
