TEIXEIRA-SOUZA PROPERTY Page 7
WKA No. 5475.03
June 2, 2003
Site History
L Ownership
Readily available San Joaquin County Assessor's office records consisting of a computerized
database accessed via APNs reveals that the Teixeira family is the current property owner entity of
the subject property. Additional site history information is provided under the subheadings below
that correspond to the sources of the data.
i, Owner Interview
We discussed the history of the subject property with Edward Teixeira, current property owner of
the subject property. Mr. Teixeira informed us that his family has owned the subject property since
1980. Mr. Teixeira explained to us that the subject property is currently farmed with hay crop. Mr.
Teixeira has no recollection of any organochlorine or organophosphorus (i.e. "persistent")
pesticides being applied to the subject property. That statement is consistent with our accumulated
experience in that lands subject to the type of usage as the subject property do not typically require
applications of the persistent pesticides. Mr. Teixeira also explained that agricultural chemicals
have not historically been, and are not currently, stored or mixed on the subject property.
;A
Archived Building Records
v..
We reviewed archived permit record databases for the subject property at the San Joaquin County
Department of Public Works, Building Inspection Division. This office maintains structural
permit records on microfilm dating back to the 1960s. During our review of the County records,
no structural permits were encountered for the subject property. This finding is consistent with
our experience in that we typically do not encounter structural building department records for
historic rural residential development or farm/ranch/dairy sites, because the historic development
on such sites often predates the commencement of archiving by the County building department.
L
L
INK
WALLACE•KUHL
&ASSOCIATES INC.
