Approximately 135
residents(assuming 3 persons per dwelling unit) are housed in these units (SPIIIEIR,Vol. 1I).
As stated in the SPIIIEIR Appendix D, the MHMP sets forth a comprehensive set of
l population and housing plans and requirements. The Grant Line Village located on Grant Line Road is
designated Very Low Residential. This designation would permit preservation,of the existing
residences and/or redevelopment of these areas with low-density residential development if
desired by the existing residents. The MHMP states that Specific Plaits shall be prepared so
that a maximum of 16,000 units is not exceeded.
SIGNIFICANT IMPACTS IDENTIFIED IN 2005 SPIIIEIR
No significant impacts were identified_
DISCUSSION REGARDING PROPOSED PROJECT
a) Induce substantial population growth In an area, Bather directly{for example, by
proposing new homes and businesses) or indirectly (for example, through extension of
roads or other infrastructure)?
4-59
{
