Mr. Hernandez owned the site for 25 years. He informed'us that there were no <br /> environmental problems with the site. According to Mr. Hernandez, the site had been used for <br /> dry farming and his garage was used for welding and repairs. He informed us that the site had <br /> one domestic well and had a septic system, which was located directly south of the residence. <br /> -' The only pesticide he said he had used on the site was Roundup, and it was only used in the <br /> vicinity of his yard. He said the site had never been used for industrial purposes. He also said <br /> that there had never been any drums or sacks filled with chemicals on the site and that the two <br /> drums on the site were used for barbequing and for water. According to Mr. Hernandez, the site <br /> had never had any tanks except for the one located on the eastern border of the site. He said that <br />' M $ this tank had never been filled with anything. Numerous debris piles and two ash piles were <br /> noted onsite during the site reconnaissance. Mr. Hernandez said that San Joaquin County had. <br /> required him to remove debris from his property in the past because of complaints from the <br /> neighbors and that the only debris he had burned was paper. He said that no trash was buried <br /> onsite. According to Mr. Hernandez, the soil pile southeast of the garage is native soil that he <br /> C used to make the yard more level.
