i MOUNTAIN HOUSE PROPOSED ALTAMONT HEIGHTS TENTATIVE MAP 4. ENVIRONMENTAL CHECKLIST
4.2 AGRICULTURAL RESOURCES
b) Conflict with existing zoning for agricultural use, or a Williamson Act contract?
There are no Williamson Act Contract lands within the project site, and no conflicts with
fill agricultural zoning would occur. The project site is zoned for residential use.
Mitigation Measures
No mitigation measures are required.
i
c) Involve other changes in the existing environment which, due to their location or
nature, could result in conversion of Farmland to non-agricultural use?
The infrastructure that will serve the Mountain House Community will not have capacity to
serve areas outside the community's boundaries. As discussed in Section 4.15: Utilities and
Service Systems of this Checklist, the water and wastewater treatment plants have been sized !
to accommodate only the Mountain House Community. Any conversion of agricultural land
g j use to non-agricultural land use by property owners outside the Mountain House Community
would require construction of their own water and wastewater infrastructure. Separate
environmental impact assessments of constructing this infrastructure would be required at the
time applications for rezoning and development are filed.
Mitigation Measures
No additional mitigation measures are required.
SOURCES OF INFORMATION
fiEDAW. 2005a.
