The applicant or-builder will submit <br /> the. SWMP to the County when submitting project im'iprovement plans. The;County.and the <br /> MHCSD will review these plans prior to Final Map approval. <br /> Water Supply <br /> E <br /> Water supply will be provided by the MHCSD from the water treatment plant located on the <br /> north side of Byron Road. Pipelines will be extended along Central Parkway from <br /> Neighborhoods C and D. A 3.7 million gallon treated water storage tank will be . <br /> constructed at the northeast corner of the community college campus south of the <br /> Altamont Heights project site(Machado Checklist, 2006). A booster pump station will be <br /> constructed to provide sufficient flow and pressure to meet peak hour and fire fighting <br /> demands(West Yost, 2004). <br /> Wastewater . <br /> MHCSD will provide wastewater service. The MHCSD operates a wastewater treatment <br /> plant located north of Byron Road. Wastewater from the project site will be conveyed <br /> through an on-site'sanitary sewer collection system. This system will include an 8-inch main <br /> line, service laterals, maintenance holes, and cleanouts,which will serve the entire <br /> development. The sewer lines will be installed along the streets prior to paving(Pegasus <br /> Development, 2006). <br /> Telephone <br /> Telephone and cable service would be provided by the MHCSD,which may subcontract with <br /> another entity to provide such service to residences in the project area. <br /> Electrical/Gas Lines <br /> The Modesto Irrigation District(MID)will provide electricity and Pacific Gas and Electric <br /> will provide gas service. Construction of the necessary infrastructure to provide these <br /> services will be the responsibility of the two companies. <br /> Biotics <br /> As stated in the San Joaquin Multi-Species Habitat Conservation and Open Space Plan <br /> (SJMSCP), the applicant will be required to conduct pre-construction surveys and implement <br /> r "take" avoidance and minimization measures for special-status species identified in the plan. <br /> In addition, the applicant is required to institute measures to prevent ground squirrel <br /> occupation at the project site,consistent with guidelines set forth in the SJMSCP(San <br /> Joaquin COG, 2001). <br /> A drainage swale (or wetland feature)runs southwest to northeast across the site. EIP <br /> Associates prepared a wetland delineation report for the proposed project site (EIP <br /> Associates,2006a).
