Although unlikely, if a severe earthquake should rupture the <br /> Delta Mendota Canal or the California Aqueduct,the pump stations that feed the canals <br /> would be shut down to save water and avoid any downstream flooding until the canals could <br /> be repaired. <br /> Mitigation Measures <br /> No mitigation measures are required. <br /> j) Inundation by seiche, tsunami, or mudflow? <br /> { The proposed project would not be subject to a seiche or tsunami because thero'ect site is <br /> p J <br /> not located near any large water bodies.
