GENERAL Kleinfelder is pleased to present the results of our soil suitability and nitrate loading study for the Grace Christian Church located at 5555 West Grant Line Road in Tracy, California. The Assessor's Parcel Number for the property is 213-170-39 and 213- 170-38. An aerial photograph showing the approximate site boundaries is presented on Plate 1. The purpose of our study was to determine the suitability of the property F- for septic tank usage. The study was performed in general accordance with the requirements of Section 9.10100© of San Joaquin County Ordinance. The following sections include background information regarding the project site and the proposed development, past and present uses of the site, existing septic tank performance and permitting, and the groundwater conditions in the project area. In addition, discussions regarding our investigative procedures and the site conditions encountered during our field exploration are included. Finally, the results of our percolation tests, nitrate loading calculations, and subsequent conclusions are presented. i - fi 2. SITE DESCRIPTION I PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT At the time'of our study, the subject 1 .64- and 4.10-acre parcels primarily consisted of an abandoned church structure surrounded by metal cyclone fencing with a asphalt • parking area to the east of the church, a grass-covered area to the west, and modular classroom buildings to the north. The property was bound to the north by-- industrial/farming y-industrial/farming buildings and farmland, to the east by a residence, to the west by a -E residence and outbuildings i764ani ipment, and to the south by Grant Line Road.
