GENERAL <br /> Kleinfelder is pleased to present the results of our soil suitability and nitrate loading <br /> study for the Grace Christian Church located at 5555 West Grant Line Road in Tracy, <br /> California. The Assessor's Parcel Number for the property is 213-170-39 and 213- <br /> 170-38. An aerial photograph showing the approximate site boundaries is presented <br /> on Plate 1. The purpose of our study was to determine the suitability of the property <br /> F- for septic tank usage. The study was performed in general accordance with the <br /> requirements of Section 9.10100© of San Joaquin County Ordinance. The following <br /> sections include background information regarding the project site and the proposed <br /> development, past and present uses of the site, existing septic tank performance and <br /> permitting, and the groundwater conditions in the project area. In addition, discussions <br /> regarding our investigative procedures and the site conditions encountered during our <br /> field exploration are included. Finally, the results of our percolation tests, nitrate <br /> loading calculations, and subsequent conclusions are presented. <br /> i - <br /> fi <br /> 2. SITE DESCRIPTION I PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> At the time'of our study, the subject 1 .64- and 4.10-acre parcels primarily consisted of <br /> an abandoned church structure surrounded by metal cyclone fencing with a asphalt <br /> • parking area to the east of the church, a grass-covered area to the west, and modular <br /> classroom buildings to the north. The property was bound to the north by-- <br /> industrial/farming <br /> y-industrial/farming buildings and farmland, to the east by a residence, to the west by a <br /> -E residence and outbuildings i764ani ipment, and to the south by Grant Line <br /> Road. The existing pare is-2oned C-RS_Odra[ Service Commercial). <br /> We understand that the existing church and asphalt parking area will be remodeled. <br /> An on-site septic/leach field system will provide sewage disposal., An existing <br /> domestic well will provide water for the church.
