L LMay 16,2006 NOA Project Number: E06044A �I 2.2 Aerial Photographs L• Aerial photographs depicting the subject property dated 1937,1952,1963,1975 and 1983 were reviewed at the San Joaquin County Surveyor's Office in Stockton, California.2 Two additional photos, dated 1993 and 2002,were obtained from Microsoft Terraserver' In the 1937 photo, the subject property appears to be an open field. Surrounding properties are agricultural and grazing land with scattered rural residences. LIn the 1952 photo, the subject property is row crops. It appears that there are structures on the IL southwest comer of the subject property,and trees are along the eastern property line.The surrounding properties are similar to the previous photo. In the 1963 and 1975 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity remain relatively unchanged Lfrom the previous photo. ` In the 1983 photos, the subject property appears to be a field used for agricultural purposes. The subject property and its immediate vicinity otherwise appear relatively unchanged from the previous photo. V In the 1993 and 2002 photo,the subject property and its immediate vicinity remain relatively unchanged Lfrom the previous photo. These photos are included in Appendix C of this report. NOA's ability to interpret the land uses is Llimited by the scale and quality of the photos. 2.3 USGS Topographic Maps LThe topographic quadrangle depicting the subject property is the U.S. Geological Survey, Escalon, California,quadrangle map. One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 photo inspected 1976,was available at L NOA. In the topographic map,the subject property is depicted as open land and located at approximately 140 feet above mean sea level. An irrigation canal defines the northern boundary of the property, and L Grooms Road defines the southern boundary. No structures appear on the subject property. Surrounding properties are depicted as open land with scattered structures along the major roads.
