Harlan Road <br /> French Camp, CA 95231 <br /> RE: Land Use Application#PA-02-255 <br /> The Environmental Health Department has the following comments in response to review of the <br /> nitrate loading study dated June 4, 2002, and the addendum of September 18, 2002. <br /> 1. In order for EHD to support utilizing the existing septic system it will need to be uncovered. <br /> A determination of the current, existing septic system functional ability and its overall <br /> condition will need to be made. A consultation fee will be required for Environmental <br /> Health Department staff time per the Board of Supervisors Resolution 90-620. If the existing <br /> system is to be destroyed, it shall be done under permit and inspection with EHD. <br /> 2. The following minimum requirement for a new septic system includes installation of a 2000 <br /> gallon septic tank with a 1200 gallon grease-trap for the kitchen/break room and installation <br /> of a minimum 2000 square-foot filter bed area. <br /> 3.
