Per the request of the San Joaquin Environmental
Health Department, the following report has been updated from the study provided on August 25,
1998. The purpose of this study is to determine the effects of waste water effluent on the ground
water in light of the proposed development. The following construction information was giver.
by Roger Liston of Beneto Tank Lines Inc. This letter presents the results of our study.
The development consists of two rectangular shaped parcels with a combined area of 5.7
acres. It is proposed to construct a building on each parcel encompassing a small office and a
maintenance shop for semi truck and trailers. A total of 5 fiill time office personnel and 40 truck
drivers will be assigned to the development. The truck drivers wil I only be present at the
beginning and end of the day. Eighty percent of the combined 5.7 acres will be covered with
asphalt pavement with the remainder encompassing exposed subgrade or aggregate base(see the
attached Location Map). On site drainage is collected in a storm water percolation pond located
along the west side of the two parcels.
The two parcels are currently vacant and located east of the existing Beneto Tank Lines,
Inc. facility. The existing facility consists of two buildings with some semi truck and trailer
parking and a fuel station. The proposed new location is bordered by Harlan Rd. and Southern
Pacific Railroad at the west and cast sides, respectively. Vacant land borders the north and south
sides.
