Hours of operation are proposed to be 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 <br /> p.m., Monday through Saturday with three employees and two trucks making a maximum of <br /> three trips daily. <br /> Surrounding Land Uses Include: <br /> North. AG/Residential <br /> South: AG/Residential <br /> East: AG/Residential <br /> West: AG/Residential <br /> BOARD STAFF QUESTIONS AND COMMENTS <br /> The following Board staff questions and comments are presented in order to assist the Lead <br /> Agency in identifying potentially significant environmental issues, and to facilitate the review <br /> and evaluation of any subsequent solid waste related projects under CEQA. If Board staff's <br /> evaluation of the proposed project varies from the intended proposed project, please clarify and <br /> correct any discrepancies. <br /> New Regulations for Compostable Materials <br /> The project applicant and the Lead Agency should be aware that the C1WMB has revised the <br /> regulations pertaining to composting facilities and the permitting process. The revised <br /> regulations became effective during April 2003 and included changes in the CIWMB Tiered <br /> Permit Structure. ERS staff recommends that the Lead Agency review the regulations for <br /> informational purposes.
