Water samples were collected from each <br /> of the tdum wells and analyzd for fitly-nine individual volatile organic compounds(VOC's)by an appropriately <br /> certified laboratory. Please be advised that none of these analyzed cunstiiucnts were detected in the samples. <br /> Sampling was conducted on lune 25, 1998. Each of the wells was purged prior to sampling by Purvianec <br /> Drillers, hu. Purging continued until measured parameters (pH, electrical conductivity and temperature) <br /> stabilized. The hvo agricultural wells located on the situ(designated as the North and South wells)were purged <br /> by lowering a turbine-type pump to a depth of 300 feet and ptunping out approximately 1800 gallons of water. <br /> Sampling was accomplished after purging by withd►awing a small quantity of water through a needle valve <br /> inserted into the discharge piping. In this way, snnlplcs were collected with a minimum of acratiort acrd <br /> turbukrxx cffocts. lbe domestic well,locatod toward the eastern property line,was purged by pumping out mQirc <br /> than 3000 gallons from the well. Once the mea_eured parantete s had stabilized,a sample was collected at the end <br /> of the discharge piping. <br /> All sarnplLs wcrc collect.in accordance with industryo tandard sampling procedures,utilizing proper methods <br /> of decontamination and sampling handling The samples were cooled and delivered under chain of custody to <br /> Alpha Analytical,Inc.in Sparks.Ncvnda,fix analysis. All piping, frump and pwriping accessories were properly <br /> decontatninatud between wells. <br /> Laboratory data sheets and groundwater sampling;logs have been enclosed for your review.
