INTRODUCTION <br /> Our office was retained by Dillon Engineering, Lodi, California, to perform a soil <br /> suitability study for the Noma property located at 6507 E. Harney Lane, Lodi, California. <br /> Mr. Noma is proposing to spilt his property into two parcels. The parcel number is APN <br /> 061-132-23. The purpose of this study is to determine the suitability of the property for <br /> septic tank usage. This study was performed according to the requirements of Section 10100 <br /> of San Joaquin County Development Code and the Public Health Services section of the <br /> Revised Conditions of Approval prepared for the subject property. This report presents the <br /> results of our study. <br /> II. PROPOSED DEVELOPMENT <br /> The area where the property is located is currently zoned AG-40. The subject <br /> property consists of a rectangular shaped 19.7 acre parcel (see attached tentative map). The <br /> Noma residence is located on the front (south) portion of the property. It is proposed to <br /> split off the rear 9.9 acres (Parcel 1) and create an additional homesite with a proposed <br /> location in the southwest corner of the new parcel. The proposed split is being done as a <br /> Minor Subdivision. There is no other proposed development at this time. <br /> III. PRESENT AND PAST USE OF THE SITE <br /> Except for the existing home, the entire property is currently and has been a vineyard <br /> for the last 60+ years. <br /> 1 <br />
