The purpose of this Addendum No. 11 is to clarify the recommendations sections
contained in my Soil Suitability Study dated May 27, 2003 and Addendum dated July 16,
2003 by replacing them in their entirety with the"Recommendations:"contained in this
Addendum No. R. The need for the replacement of the previously submitted
recommendations sections results from a meeting with Mr. Mike Huggins, a San Joaquin
County representative in the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department's
Conference Room on Thursday, September 18,2003 and is submitted as follows:
Recommendations: Mr. Mike Huggins,Representative of the San Joaquin
Environmental Health Department has determined that leach fields are acceptable septic
system installations for Parcels 3 and 4 except that the minimum usable disposal areas are
to be double the amount normally required at the time of construction(16,000 square
feet)and also the number of leach lines is to be double the amount normally installed for
the number of bedrooms to be built at the time of construction. Caution should also be
exercised in locating the septic systems in the same places where the shallow percolation
tests were conducted on Parcels 3 and 4 as shown on the Percolation Test Hole Location
Map. Also The San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department will need to be
consulted to establish the appropriate elevation of the sewage outlet connection on any
future house constructed.
Also the San Joaquin County Environmental Department will not allow final plan
and map submissions to be approved until either appropriate soil is found on each of the
two parcels, Parcels 1 and 2,that will conform to the acceptable permeability standards
established by the San Joaquin County Environmental Health Department for either
shallow or deep percolation tests or above ground septic engineered systems designed by
licensed professional engineers are submitted and approved by the San Joaquin Couinty
Environmental Health Department for Parcels 1 and 2.
Respectfully Submitted,
&t E
Walter E.
