1
SOUTH SAN JOAQUIN
IRRIGATION DISTRICT
May 14,2018
Alisa Goulart
San Joaquin County
Community Development Dept.
1810 East Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
Re: Norma Norton Trust
APN: 229-260-27 & 30
Dear Ms.Goulart:
The South San Joaquin Irrigation District has reviewed the application named above and requests
that the following conditions of approval be adopted for this minor subdivision application:
1. The owner shall execute the necessary documents and agreements to provide for the
abandonment of service and the removal of irrigation structures for those parcels which
will not continue to receive irrigation water. With regard to the "re-parceling" it should
be noted that it is the responsibility of the individuals involved and not the District to
provide for private irrigation facilities and easements, should it be determined that a need
exists for irrigation service to new parcels.
2. If irrigation service is to continue to the newly created parcels the owner shall conform to
the following requirements:
a. Dedicate a private irrigation easement to the benefit of all parcels which do not
have access to water and show said easement on map. If the easement cannot be
dedicated with the map a note may be placed on the map adjacent to the
proposed easement stating that"a minimum 20 foot wide private irrigation
easement shall be conveyed across said parcel at the time of conveyance or
transfer to new owners. Pipeline is to be installed at the expense of the recipient
of the water."
P.O. Box 747, Ripon, CA 953 66-0 74 7 (Mailing)
11011 E. Highway 120, Manteca, CA 95336-9750
(209) 249-4600
