The project consists of the raising of pigeons and the processing and manufacturing of pigeon meat for sell to wholesale markets. Phase One to be completed within 18 months, consits of the construction of an 80 square foot pigeon loft and the utilization of two existing 2,200 square foot existing buildings. Building Two to be utilized as a processing unit. Building Three to be utilized as a storage, cooler and freezer unit. Phase Two to be completed within 5 years, will consist of the addition of 3,000 pigeons for a total of 5,000 pigeons and the expansion of the existing 80 square foot pigeon loft to 1,840 squaree feet. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is A/G (General Agriculture)and OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located at the terminous of Hollenbeck Road, east of Stockton. (APN/Address: 183-170-03; 2314 S. Hollenbeck Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District 4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than November 21, 2007. Comments or recommendations received after that date will not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application.
