From: APR 1 8 2008
Le Ngoc-San
610 Adams St. ENVIROP1k1ENI i1E-1LTH
Albany, CA.94706. PERMIT/SERVICES
(Manure Management Plan)
(Permit Application#0700491)
To:
Miss Amanda Boertien
600 E. Main St.
Stockton, CA 95202-3029
Albany April 15, 2008.
Dear Miss Amanda Boertien.
First of all, please allow me to thank you for your concern about our plan. After
receiving your fax and listen to your advise through the telephone, I went to check with
the San Joaquin Air Pollution Control District at Modesto and the officier of the district
advised me exactly as you told me during your conversation: Because our plan is very
small and the cost to build an incinerator will be very high, I should bring our dead birds
to the rendering plan.
Back to Albany I went to different libraries to see where I could find these plants
and to answer all comments of Mr Robert McClellon.
Most rendering plants were located in the Southern California. It is not easy to
find them in the Northern California. Luckily we could get them throught the
computer. They are:
- Best Way Animal Disposal at Madera.
- Shayne's Custom Calves at Merced.
- Sisk Recycling Co. at Turlock.
These plants are not far from our facility. If, unfortunately, there are any dead
birds at our facility, we will let them do it for us.
Other comments of Mr. Robert McClellon, I tried to answer them in the draft
letter herewith. Because English is not my native language, therefore, could be
there are many words and structures that are not compatible with the native
American. If so, please let me know, I try to get somebody who could explain my
ideas clearly as an American.
Actually, I should not add this paragraph, because it is very personal.
But,because, since the day, in the meeting with Mr. Rodney Estrada, REHS, your
compassion attudude towards our project, I dare to put something personal:
Maybe, overestimated my ability, capacity, and actual life situation: An old man
(84 years old), slow (senile) with a 76 year old wife at the first stage of
Alzheimer's disease, I should stop working and enjoy life.
