No food processing or food manufacturing will be conducted on-site. Phase 1 to include the raising of up to 500 pigeons of which 250 will be male and 250 will be female. The project will include the construction of a pigeon loft in phases. Phase 1 consist of the construction of a 400 square foot pigeon loft. Phase 2 to be completed within 5 years from the date of approval, will involve the addition of 3,200 square feet to the pigeon loft for a total of 3,600 square feet to house the remaining 4,500 pigeons. The Property is zoned AG-40 (General Agriculture, 40-acre minimum) and the General Plan designation is AIG (General Agriculture), OS/RC (Resource Conservation). PROJECT LOCATION: The project site is located at the terminous of Hollenbeck Road, east of Stockton (APN/Address: 183-170-03; 2314 S. Hollenbeck Road, Stockton) (Supervisorial District 4) ENVIRONMENTAL DETERMINATION: A Negative Declaration is being proposed for adoption. Copies of the Initial Study and proposed Negative Declaration are available at the Community Development Department. APPLICATION REVIEW: If you have any recommendations or comments on this project, please submit them to the Community Development Department no later than November 25, 2008. Comments or recommendations received after that date will not be used in staffs analysis and recommendation for this application. NOTE TO SURROUNDING PROPERTY OWNERS: The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on this project. You will receive notice of the date,#ime, and place of the public hearing at a later date.
