(Cardno), on your behalf for the above-referenced site. <br /> The EHD had directed the submittal of a closure summary report by email dated 01 <br /> November 2013. <br /> In the report, Cardno presented groundwater monitoring results from the sampling event <br /> completed in March 2011, discussed the operation between May 2010 and December 2011 <br /> of a soil vapor extraction (SVE) system that removed approximately 2,665 pounds of total <br /> petroleum hydrocarbons as gasoline, and presented an evaluation of site conditions in the <br /> context of the LTCP. Based on the information presented in the report, Cardno concluded <br /> that this site should be moved to closure. <br /> The EHD concurs with the closure recommendation presented by Cardno and has <br /> discussed this site with the Central Valley Regional Water Quality Control Board (Regional <br /> Board). The EHD is preparing a Case Closure Summary to submit to the Regional Board <br /> for closure notification. The Regional Board will have thirty days to respond to the closure <br /> recommendation by the EHD. <br /> As required by the LTCP, please notify "municipal and county water districts, water <br /> replenishment districts, special act districts with groundwater management authority, <br /> agencies with authority to issue building permits for land affected by the petroleum release, <br /> owners and occupants of the property impacted by the petroleum release, and the owners <br /> and occupants of all parcels adjacent to the impacted property" of the pending case closure <br /> and of their opportunity to submit comments or questions regarding the pending closure to <br /> this agency. Those to be notified include, but are not limited to: City of Stockton, San <br /> Joaquin County Public Works Utilities Maintenance and East Bay Municipal Utility District. <br /> Comments should be directed to Angelica Sandoval Marin, San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department, 1868 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton, California 95205- <br /> 6232. Prior to distribution of the notification, please provide a copy of the draft letter to the <br /> EHD for review and comment along with the list of agencies and owners/occupants who will <br /> receive the public participation letter. A, sample letter is available from the EHD, if <br /> requested. The public will have sixty days to comment. <br />
