' A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br /> 4.0 ANALYTICAL RESULTS <br />' 4L.1 Soil Analytical Results <br /> A total of sixteen soil samples collected from borings GPI through GP3, CPTI, and CPT2 were <br />' submitted to the laboratory for chenucal analyses The selected samples were collected at various <br /> depths ranging from 18 feet to 91 feet bgs Of these samples, only seven contained one or more <br /> analytes detected at concentrations above the laboratory's method detection limits (MDLs) <br /> TPHg was detected 1n the selected soil samples collected from borings GPI, GP2, and CPTI at <br /> concentrations ranging from 16 millgrams per kilogram (mg/Kg) to 290 mg/Kg Ethylbenzene <br /> was detected in the soil sample collected at a depth of 37 feet bgs from boring CPT] at a <br /> concentration of 0 31 mg/Kg Low levels of xylenes were detected in samples collected from <br /> borings GP 1, GP2, and CPTI at concentrations ranging from 0 065 mg/Kg to 3 6 mg/Kg <br /> Benzene, toluene, MTBE, and the remaining fuel oxygenates were not detected above their <br /> respective MDLs in any of the soil samples <br /> The lateral extent of petroleum hydrocarbons in soil 1s depicted on Figure 3 Analytical results of <br /> soil samples are summarized in Table 1 <br /> M4_2 Groundwater Analytical Results <br />' TPHg was detected in the groundwater samples collected from borings GPI, CPTI-W90, and <br /> CPTI-W123 at concentrations of 360 micrograms per liter (ug/L), 2,700 ug/L, and 270 ug/l, <br /> respectively Benzene was detected in the groundwater sample collected from boring CPTI-W90 <br /> at a concentration of 1 6 ug/L Toluene was detected in the groundwater samples collected from <br /> borings GPI, CPTI-W90, and CPTI-W123 at concentrations of 12 ug/L, 85 ug/L, and 8 6 ug/L, <br /> repectively The fuel oxygenate 1,2 DCA was detected in the groundwater samples collected <br /> from borings GPI and CPT 1-W90 at concentrations of 53 ug/L and 64 ug/L, respectively <br /> MTBE was not detected in any of the groundwater samples collected from the borings <br />' The groundwater samples collected from borings GP3, CPT2-W94, and CPT2-W l32 did not <br /> contain concentrations of TPHg, BTEX, or fuel oxygenates at or above laboratory MDLs A <br />' groundwater sample was not collected from the GP2 boring due to refusal at an approximate <br /> depth of 60 feet bgs Analytical results of groundwater samples are summarized in Table 2 <br /> Isocontcentrations maps showing the lateral extent of TPHg and 1,2-DCA in groundwater are <br />' depicted on Figures 6 and 7, respectively <br /> 5.0 SOIL DISPOSAL, <br /> Since drill cuttings for the Geoprobe® and CPT borings were limited to less than 30 gallons, they <br /> are currently being stored on site until they can be properly disposed of <br /> w\14885Veports\Sum2oa4 doe 6 <br />
