A S S O C I A T E S I N C <br /> October 18, 2004 <br /> 54 14885 0001 <br /> Ms Margaret Lagono <br /> San Joaquin County <br /> Environmental Health Department <br /> 304 E Weber Street, Third Floor <br /> 1 Stockton, California 95202 <br /> Subject Supplemental Subsurface Investigation at Three Palms Grocery, 6732 East Highway <br /> 88, Stockton, California, Site Code 1830 <br /> Dear Ms Lagono <br /> 1 <br /> ATC Associates Inc has completed the Subsurface Investigation of the above referenced site i "e <br /> attached report summarizes our activities and findings Based on the analytical results and fiold <br /> observations, soil and groundwater beneath the location of the former USTs are currently <br /> impacted by petroleum hydrocarbon constituents The impacted soil appears to be generally <br /> ' limited to the upper 50 feet of the soil column Laterally, impacted soil appears limited to an area <br /> within approximately ten feet from the former UST excavation (as exhibited by data collected <br /> from well MW1 and bonngs GPI, GP2, GP3, and CPT1) No MTBE was detected in any of the <br /> soil or groundwater samples collected and analyzed during the 2004 subsurface investigation <br /> The fuel oxygenate 1,2-Dichloroethane (1,2-DCA) has not been detected in the soil samples <br /> • collected from the site 1,2-DCA has been detected in the water samples collected from borings <br /> ' <br /> GPI and CPT1, as well as wells MWi and MW3 Based on the defined lateral and vertical extent <br /> of contamination, ATC recommends no further action for the above referenced site <br />
