Landscaoing
Five-gallon acacia longifolia bushes will be planted at 5-foot intervals along
MacArthur Road. Planting is to be completed by December 1991. Three growing
seasons are to occur prior to the commencement of mining. Water trucks will
water these plants during summer and drought periods.
Setbacks
All final elevations within 25 feet of any property boundary will be equal to those
of the abutting property.
Per our agreement with Tom Gau, a 10-foot dedication, or other as determined by
Public Works for future expansion of MacArthur road, will be granted to the
County.
Triple E Produce
Triple E has expressed concerns regarding dust impacts on its outside
compressors. Teichert proposes the following mitigation measures:
1. Fifteen-gallon acacia plants will be planted at 5-foot intervals along the
±740-foot common boundary.
2. Planting is to be completed by December 1991 or sooner.
3. A minimum of three growing seasons are to occur prior to commencing
mining.
4. Water trucks will water these plants during summer and drought periods.
5. At all times, water trucks will be available to control dust. As excavation
proceeds to greater depths, dust will, in any case, become less of an issue
due to both the depth of excavation and the moisture contents of the
material excavated.
6
