United States Bureau of Reclamation: <br /> a. Material sloughing from the excavation-cut slopes adja- <br /> cent to Bureau facilities will not be disturbed or <br /> removed. <br /> b. The cut slopes of the excavation adjacent to Bureau faci- <br /> lities will not be steeper than a grade of two feet rhori- <br /> zontal to one foot vertical. <br /> C. All sloughing of and/or seepage through the Phase I cut <br /> slopes adjacent to the canal will be reported to our <br /> Tracy Field Office immediately. <br /> d. Upon request, Bureau engineers will be admitted to the <br /> excavation site to inspect the cut slopes adjacent to the <br /> canal. <br /> e . If, in the opinion of the Bureau, conditions develop that <br /> could affect canal stability, Teichert and Son will be <br /> required to suspend further excavation near the area of <br /> concern until the completion of any necessary analysis <br /> and remedial work. <br /> f . Excavation shall not penetrate the groundwater surface. <br /> g. Excavation shall not extend further than 100 feet from <br /> the Bureau property line. <br /> 2 . Pacific Gas and Electric Company: <br /> a. The applicant shall submit the excavation plan for review <br /> and approval by PG&E prior to excavation in areas of <br /> existing overhead or underground facilities . <br /> 3. No stockpiled soil or material shall be placed closer than <br /> twenty-five (25) feet to a property boundary. <br /> 4. All private roads involved in an excavation shall be main- <br /> tained so as to control the creation of dust. The first one- <br /> hundred (100 ) feet of any private road on the property which <br /> intersects with a publicly maintained road shall be surfaced <br /> in a manner approved by the agency responsible for the main- <br />
