Explore the feasibility and establishment of a food waste diversion <br /> program through composting. <br /> Proposed Project <br /> The proposed project would increase the capacity of the MRFITS from the <br /> r current permitted capacity of 1,000 TPD to 2.500 TPD to accommodate the <br /> growth of the City of Tracy and the County of San Joaquin, and to address the <br /> City of Tracy's Enhanced Diversion Plan. The MRF/TS will be poised to <br /> accommodate a series of new CIWMB policies on their goal to zero waste. The building is expected to be constructed during 2007.
