Mac4rthur Drive, Tracy, California 95377 Existing Permits and Approvals The project applicant, Tracy Material Recovery & Solid Waste Transfer, Inc. currently owns and operates the Tracy Material Recovery Facility and Transfer Station with the following land use entitlements shown in Table 1: Table 1 - Existing Land Use Entitlements Permit Date Entitlement UP-93-41 and 12/15/1993 Material Recovery and Transfer Facility on EIR (SCH #93042093) 39.2 acre site in an AG-40 Zone. SA - 96 - 38 914196 Facility expansion of 12.5 acres (51.7 acres total) to allow land disposal of up to 40 cubic yards per day of tomato waste. Several permits and approvals govern the design and operation of the Tracy MRF & TS facility. The operator has received permits for the facility from the following agencies: San Joaquin County Environmental Health Division • Solid Waste Facility Permit , o Originally issued, March 1994 o Revised February 1997 o Five year permit review, February 2002 — no changes o Composting permit issued, July 15, 2003 — new regulations o Five year permit review, March 2007 — no changes • Report of Facility Information — Amendment # 1, allowing the processing of cannery wastes • Report of Facility Information — Amendment # 2, allowing the storage of glass in outdoor bunkers • Report of Facility Information —Amendment# 3, allowing the following: ■ Processing and storage of inert materials ■ Processing of construction and demolition debris ■ Storage of appliances • Storage of universal wastes ■ Storage of electronic wastes ■ Modifications of yard waste composting area ■ Modifications of wood waste processing area ■ Building Addition for storage and baling of source-separated fibers • Report of Facility Information — Amendment # 4, changing the hours that the facility is open to the public. �i 3 170.18.03 CUP Project Description 121807
