This gatehouse is located far.enough off of MacArthur <br /> Drive and the access driveway Is long enough to accornmodate any vehicles waiting to access the facility <br /> without having traffic tracked up onto MacArthur Drive. <br /> CERTIFICATION OF THE FINAL EIR <br /> Based upon a preliminary determination that the project had the potential to result In potentially.significant, <br /> adverse environmental impacts, an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) was prepared for the project by <br /> the San Joaquin County Community Development DepaMnent, under contract to the project applicants. <br /> The EIR addressed the hollowing issues: land use/planning policy, vegeta ion and wildlife resources, <br /> trail icirculaion, geology/geotechnical, water resources, noise, aur quality, public services, cultural <br /> resources,vrfsuaVaesthetfes, and public health and safety. No signficant, unavoidable, adverse impacts <br /> were identified in the Final EIR <br /> Hearings on the Draft EIR were heli for the public and the Planning Commission on October 27, 1993, <br /> and November 4, 1993, respectively. No comments on the Draft EIR were made at either of these <br /> hearings, Alt oral and written comments received during the 45-day review period for the Draft EIR have <br /> been responded to and included in the Final EIR Where necessary, the text of the draft document has <br /> been amended as a result of the public review process. Final EIR's were distributed to the Planning <br /> Commission on December 6, 1993, with copies andlor notices of availability to interested persons, <br /> 1 organizations, and local agencies also mailed on December 6, 1993. All agencies and persons <br /> J commenting on the Draft EIR were also sent responses to their comments on December 2, 1993, prior <br />
