Page 5 V dHEA, H M Permit # : 39-99-3902027 -------------------------------------- - CONDITION - Q DICAMBA AND PHENOXY HERBICIDES - CENTRAL VALLEY/HAZARDOUS AREA ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In addition to all applicable laws , regulations and label restrictions, the CONDITIONS CHECKED BELOW APPLY to applications covered by this permit . [Xj 1 . No ester formulation applications allowed. [_] 2 . A smoke column is reqired at the application site for all Phenoxy and Dicamba applications by aircraft begining March 16 and continu- ing through October 15 . [XI 3 . Do not discharge material more than 10 feet above the crop or target. (_] 4 . A drift reducing agent shall be added to the spray mixture at label rates. (X] 5 . Maximum wind velocity for Phenoxy herbicides 10 m.p.h. [X] 6 . Maximum wind velocity for Dicamba - 10 m.p. h. EXCEPT when wind is moving in direction of sensitive crops , the maximum wind velocity - 5 m.p.h. 7 . No Dicamba application allowed in the vicinity of sensitive crops when the maximum temperature on the day of application is predicted to exceed 85 degrees Fahenheit. Predicted temperature for the following day will be determined by the 3 : 30 p.m. prediction by the National Weather Station - Stockton Airport . (_] S . Dicamba applications by aircraft are restricted to a minimum distance of 2 miles from the following susceptible crops : beans, grapes , sunflower , tomato , safflower, curcurbits , potatoes . [_] 9 . Dicamba applications by ground are restricted to a minimum distance of 20 feet from the following susceptible crops : beans, safflower, tomato, curcurbits , potatoes and 1/4 mile from grapes and sunflowers . [_] 10 .
