F7noted Leachline Requirement Map published by the Environmental Health Department, erty is in the "High Water Table Areas." The map shows that sumps or seepageed in this area.
entrations determined in the underlying groundwater suggests there apparently
has not been impact to the deeper aquifers from upgradient agricultural inputs and as referenced
above, the San Joaquin River may be influencing the nitrate concentration detected. Regardless
of the nitrate concentration of any well water in rural areas, it is recommended that bottled water
should always be used for drinking and cooking purposes.
The well head for the on-site domestic well must be brought into compliance with San Joaquin
County Environmental Health Department requirements, according to Mr. Huggins. This may
include using neat cement down and around the well casing and under the well head, where the
ground surface has subsided from the well head.
LIMITATIONS
The findings, testing, opinions and conclusions of this report are based upon information from
standard engineering and analytical test procedures, contemporary scientific literature and agency
consultations.
