Visual observations referenced in this report are intended only to represent site <br /> conditions at the time of the site visit. ENGEO would not be aware of site contamination, such as <br /> dumping and/or accidental spillage,which occurred subsequent to the site reconnaissance conducted <br /> by ENGEO personnel. <br /> 3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> 3.1 Location and Legal Description <br /> The Property consists of approximately 100 acres located north of the eastern end of West <br /> Manila Road at the San Joaquin River in the City of Lathrop, San Joaquin County, California <br /> (Figure 1). The Property consists of APN 191-27-01 and has a listed address of 1481 West <br /> Manila Road. <br /> 3.2 Site and Vicinity Characteristics <br /> The predominant site characteristics are listed below. <br /> 1. Past uses of the Property have been limited to rural residential development, pasture land, <br /> and the agricultural production of alfalfa, corn, sugar beets, and cucumbers. <br /> 2. The top of the shallowest aquifer ranges between zero and 10 feet below ground surface <br /> (State of California, Department of Water Resources Web Site, www.dwr.water.ca.gov, <br /> State Well#01S06E22Q002M). <br /> The site is relatively level at an elevation of+10 feet above mean sea level (msl) (USGS, 1996) <br /> (Figure 3). The Property was partially covered by recently baled alfalfa and its primary use is a <br /> horse ranch with a primary residence. The regional topographic gradient slopes to the west.
