ENGEO <br /> INCORPORATED <br /> ►. 3.0 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> .� 3.1 Location and Legal Descrintion <br /> The Property consists of approximately 100 acres located north of the eastern end of West Manila <br /> Road at the San Joaquin River in the City of Lathrop, San Joaquin County, California (Figure 1). <br /> " The Property consists of APN 191-27-01 and 191-27-11 and has a listed address of 1481 West <br /> Manila Road. <br /> 3.2 Site and Vicinity Characteristics <br /> The site is relatively level at an elevation of f10 feet above mean sea level (msl) (USGS, 1996) <br /> ` (Figure 3). The Property was partially covered by recently (sled alfalfa and its primary use is a <br /> horse ranch with a primary residence. The regional topographic gradient slopes to the west. The <br /> ` Geologic Map of the Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta Lathrop Quadrangle compiled by <br /> Brian F. Atwater 1982 lists the geologic formations exposed on the Property as Pleistocene <br /> _ Alluvium and Holocene Alluvium. The Pleistocene Alluvium consists of predominantly of <br /> unweathered gravel, sand, and silt. The Holocene Alluvium consists of undivided floodplain <br /> deposits. <br /> Past uses of the Property have been limited to rural residential development, pasture land, and the <br /> agricultural production of alfalfa, com, sugar beets,and cucumbers. <br /> r <br /> The top of the shallowest aquifer ranges between zero and 10 feet below the ground surface (State <br /> of California, Department of Water Resources Web Site, www.dwr.water.ca.gov, State Well <br /> v <br /> #0l S06E22Q002M). <br /> 5943.5.001.02 <br /> July 28, 2004 5 <br /> r <br />
