Hazelton.Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95205 <br /> Dear Ms. Mueller: <br /> Caltrans has reviewed the General Plan and Rezone Application listed above for a 34.74 acre <br /> parcel located on the west side of Manthey Road, 300' south of KID Road, west of Lathrop (A-PN <br /> 191-230-07). Caltrans has the following comments: <br /> Traffic Operations <br /> Caltrans requires review of future site plans for the proposed project. At that time, depending on <br /> the magnitude of the proposal, a traffic impact study on Interstate 5, specifically at the Roth Road <br /> and Lathrop Road interchanges may be required to determine necessary operational mitigation. <br /> Drainage <br /> No net increase in peak flows shall occur onto the State Highway drainage system as a result of <br /> the proposed development. Therefore, Caltrans will require a complete set of drainage plans to <br /> verify that storm and non-stormwater discharges will remain on site and not affect Interstate 5. <br /> Environmental <br /> A Caltrans Encroachment Permit will be required for any work performed within the right of <br /> way. Additional biological, archaeological, or other environmental studies may be required as a <br /> part of the encroachment permit application. A qualified professional must conduct an;, studies <br /> undertaken to satisfy the Caltrans environmental review responsibilities. Ground disturbing <br /> activities to the site prior to completion and/or approval of required environmental documents <br /> may effect Caltrans' ability to issue a permit for the project.
