A Natural
Environmental Resource Database search will do the same for biological resources.
Caltrans encourages contacting the Native American Heritage Commission for advice
on consulting with Native Americans regarding any cultural concerns that the plan
may pose for Native American resources.
Project Management
This proposal is located within an area proposed for annexation to the City of
Lathrop. The City of Lathrop's Central Lathrop Specific Plan for this area is
currently being prepared and includes a Transportation and Circulation element
i
1. Does the current Seus proposal conform to the proposed land use and
transportation plan of the Lathrop Specific Plan?
2. Local circulation and the connections to the State highway system in this
area may be changed and/or relocated. Is the Seus proposal consistent with
these changes?
3_ /Are there any proposed activities that could impact the adjacent Interstate?
For example, will dust be created that could blow over onto the freeway
and impair visibility. Or will any feature of the proposal cause a visual
distraction to motorists on interstate 5?
i
If you have any questions, or would like to discuss these comments in more detail,
please contact Lynn O'Connor, at(209)948-7575 (email: loconnor@dot.ca.gov).
Sincerely,
I
Tons Dumas, Chief
Office of Intermodal Planning
i
i
I
'Cult v 5 impoues mobihfv uaruss Cnlifnm4*
