There does not appear <br /> to be any major problems associated with the proposed construction as shown. A building <br /> permit will be required and the appropriate submittal documents prepared by a registered <br /> engineer or licensed architect shall be submitted for complete review and approval. <br /> The Building Division has reviewed the site plan and project description and has noted the <br /> following issues that must be addressed. <br /> OCCUPANCY: (classify proposed and existing) <br /> Proposed occupancy: Group Division <br /> Existing occupancy: Group Division <br /> The proposed use will change the occupancy from a occupancy to a <br /> occupancy(UBC Section 3405). The structure must be brought into <br /> compliance with all current code provisions including structural, plumbing, mechanical, <br /> electrical, energy and disabled access requirements_ A licensers architect or registered engineer <br /> shall prepare all documents. <br /> An occupancy separation of hour is required to separate the <br /> occupancy from the occupancy. <br /> AREA: <br /> The existing structure exceeds the allowable floor area permitted by the Califonia Building Code <br /> for a( } occupancy or type ( construction.
