Iwamiya, Senior Civil Engineer <br /> Public Services Division <br /> SUBJECT: SA-97-6 A SITE APPROVAL APPLICATION TO LEGALLY ESTABLISH AN <br /> EXISTING TRUCK TERMINAL FOR FIVE TRUCKS ON A PORTION OF AN <br /> 8.5-ACRE SITE THAT ALSO CONTAINS ANOTHER TRUCK TERMINAL <br /> AND A BUS CHARTER BUSINESS, LOCATED ON THE WEST SIDE OF <br /> MARIPOSA ROAD, 458 FEET SOUTH OF CARPENTER ROAD. (DISTRICT 4). <br /> APPLICANT: Donald Rienhart APN: 179-160-21 <br /> INFORMATION: <br /> The site is not currently located within a Federal Flood Insurance Administration Designated Flood <br /> Hazard Area. In addition, the existing San Joaquin County and City of Stockton Flood Insurance <br /> Studies, which delineate flood risks, floodplains and floodway areas, are currently being reevaluated. <br /> The reevaluation is being conducted by the Federal Emergency Management Agency, Region IX, <br /> Building 105, Presidio of San Francisco, California 94129-1250, telephone (415) 923-7186. The <br /> reevaluation may delineate additional flood risks. The official flood maps are available for review at <br /> the Department of Public Works, 1810 East Hazelton Avenue, Stockton. These flood maps will be <br /> updated when the reevaluation process is completed. <br /> Mariposa Road has an existing right-of-way width of 80 feet and a planned right-of-way width of <br /> 84 feet. <br /> RECOMMENDATIONS: <br /> 1. Encroachment permit shall be required for work within road right-of-way. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.4) <br /> 2. The driveway approach shall be improved in accordance with the requirements of San Joaquin <br /> County Standards R-17 prior to issuance of the occupancy permit. <br /> (Development Title Section 9-1145.5) <br /> 3. The Traffic Impact Mitigation Fee will be required for this development. The fee is due and <br /> payable prior to approval of the site plan. (The fee currently is $151.96 per additional daily <br /> trip-end generated in the Stockton area.
