TO:2094683163 P.002/003
January 09, 2007
Kerry Sullivan, Director
San Joaquin County Community Development Department
Attention: Comine King
1810 E. Hazelton Ave.
Stockton, CA 95205
SUBJECT: OPPOSITION LETTER TO APPLICATION PA-0600655 -- PRIVATE
RIGHT-OF-E81.:- PARCElNO 87
This letter is a follow up to our telephone conversation concerning application #PA-
0600655, a Private Right-of-Way Permit for Parcel #87.
The purpose of this letter is to inform you that I am opposed to the above-mentioned
project. Mayer Road is a private road that was paid for and is currently maintained
under the Covenant Condition Restriction's (CC and R's) by the residents of the Eagle
Bay subdivision. The San Joaquin County Planning/Development Services Division
required this road as a fire turnaround when the Eagle Bay subdivision was established
several years ago by RJ S Construction. Allowing this project to proceed, as applied for,
would most assuredly increase the number of vehicles that would travel the already
narrow road on a daily basis. This additional volume would have a direct effect on the
roads disrepair and stands to have a financial impact on the current residents of the
Eagle Bay subdivision.
If you have any questions, or need additional comments, please feel free to contact me
at work during the day at (209) 937-7205 or after hours at
(209) 470-1562. In addition, I respectfully request to be notified should this project be
scheduled for a Public Hearing before the San Joaquin County Planning Commission, in
order to provide testimony concerning my opposition.
Sincerely (/
KEN PRAEGITZER
11460 Mayer Road
Acampo, CA 95220
CC- San Joaquin County Planning Commission:
Sandra Carter— District 1
Richard Nickerson, M.D. — District 2
Elizabeth Blanchard — District 3
Patrick Stocker, mohair— District 4
Stan Morri — Disctrict 5
