As the subject project site is located within the <br /> current Sphere of Influence of the City of Lathrop we wish to provide comments on this referral. <br /> The City of Lathrop Community Development Department would continue to request that we be <br /> provided with a copy of the Initial Study/Negative Declaration(IS/ND) and any associated <br /> studies prepared for the project. While a copy of the Initial Study was as previously requested by <br /> our Senior Planner in April(after we received this project referral), as of this date,we have not <br /> yet been provided with a copy of the requested document, or been advised that it has been <br /> completed. The City of Lathrop is.concerned that a Negative Declaration ibeview eing proposed for <br /> said <br /> the project and that the City of Lathrop has not been given an opportunity <br /> document. At this time we do not know if IS/ND includes an analysis section relative to traffic <br /> d. The City believes a <br /> and circulation and/or if any necessary mitigation measures are include <br /> Traffic Impact Analysis/Study must be performed to analyze potential project traffic impacts on <br /> Roth Rd. from McKinley to 1-5,the Harlan/Roth Rd. intersection, and the Roth Rd./1-5 on/off <br /> ramps. <br /> The City of Lathrop believes this truck trailer parking facility will directly and.cumulatively <br /> of Service(LOS) operations on Roth Road(a City of Lathrop <br /> impact the vehicle Level <br /> 5/Roth Road interchange. Based on recent traffic studies <br /> maintained roadway) and the Interstate- <br /> traffic future <br /> vehicle <br /> and currently observed withindtrucway or the City of Lathrop believes inter-jurisdictional <br /> traffic growth c <br /> ss <br /> e current <br /> cooperation is imperativeeek cooperationdYom San and <br /> County Community Development <br /> City of Lathropon Roth Road and/or using <br /> Department to ensure that new Countydevelopment ir hauxe costs of needed roadway and <br /> the Roth Road corridor pay their prop <br /> intersection improvements (see below requested conditions). <br />
