Gau, Senior Civil Engineer 11 <br /> Development Services/Engineering Division <br /> SUBJECT: MINOR SUBDIVISION APPLICATION NO. MS-93-114 OF HARMOHAN S. SOHI, ET AL <br /> (C/O WONG ENGINEERS, INC.) (SUPERVISORIAL DISTRICT 4) <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> It is recommended that the Planning Commission: <br /> 1. Deny Minor Subdivision No. MS-93-114 due to the Inability to make Findings No. 1 and 2. <br /> r <br /> FINDINGS: <br /> 1. The proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan, any applicable Specific Plan and <br /> Special Purpose Plan, and any other applicable plan adopted by the County. <br /> This finding cannot be made because this application is inconsistent with Agricultural <br /> Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises, small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> of open space.' <br /> The project will result In the fragmentation of the agricultural resource, because a <br /> homesite parcel has already been created on this site for the current owner under <br /> Minor Subdivision Application No. MS-88-3. <br /> 2. The design or improvement of the proposed subdivision is consistent with the General Plan and <br /> any applicable Specific Plan or Special Purpose Plan. <br /> • This finding cannot be made because this application is inconsistent with Agricultural <br /> Objective No. 1: <br /> 'To protect agricultural lands needed for the continuation of commercial <br /> agricultural enterprises, small-scale farming operations, and the preservation <br /> i of open space.' <br />
