k" KLEINFELDER
File No. 20-1146-91ND w
September 27 , 1991
Hershall Travis
SEP 3 0 191
11266 North Micke Grove Road ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH
Lodi, CA 95240 PERNIIUSERVICES
Subject: PERCOLATION TEST RESULTS
11266 NORTH MICRE GROVE ROAD
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY, CALIFORNIA
MS-91-102
Dear Mr. Travis :
As requested, on September 24 , 1991, representatives of our firm
drilled and set up one approximate 9-1/2-foot deep and one
approximate 15-foot deep percolation test hole at the approximate
locations indicated on Plate I. The test holes were drilled with
a truck-mounted drill rig equipped with 6-inch diameter continuous-
flight augers . The test holes were cased with slotted PVC pipe,
filled with approximately 3 feet of water, and left to soak
overnight.
A representative of our firm returned to the site on September 25,
1991, and performed the percolation tests per San Joaquin County
guidelines . The tests were performed for a period of 4 hours, and
the last 30 minutes were used to calculate the percolation rates.
Percolation rates of 20 and 5 minutes per inch were obtained for
tests P-1 and P-2 , respectively, at a depth of approximately 9-1/2
feet below existing ground surface. The County approved
percolation field test sheets are included with this letter.
We trust this letter presents the information requested at this
time. If you have any questions please contact us.
Respectfully submitted,
KLEINFELDER, INC.
Steven R.
