Weber Ave., Third Floor
Stockton, CA 95202
Re: Wastewater Disposal System Plans, Southwinds Church, Tracy CA
Subject: Revisions from Verbal Plan Check Comments
Dear Mr. Huggins,
I have prepared the following responses to summarize the revisions reflecting the
plan check comments that we first discussed on Dec. 12, 1999 when the plans
were brought in for approval by Sheryl of Pratt-Navarro Architecture, and being
the same comments which we discussed today.
Comment 1:
The depth of rock (absorption bed) below the leach pipe has been
increased to 12". The minimum cover above the bed has been decreased
to 8" to accommodate this change.
Comment 2:
The text "lay the pipe below the frost line or slope it uniformly back to the
dosing chamber so it may drain after dosing" has been removed from Step
5 of the Leach Field Construction Specifications shown on Sheet C6 as
requested.
Comment 3:
You had requested that a one-way check valve be installed on the
distribution line. As we discussed today, a unicheck valve comes as a
standard appurtenance with the Zoeller pump unit and is shown on the
Septic Tank Detail. Therefore, as we concluded in our conversation
today, no additional check valve is required.
