One test was
performed for each of the four parcels and one on the Designated Remainder of the subject
property located at 22410 Milton Road in Linden, California. The Assessor's Parcel Number is
APN 093-040-07. The property is approximately 10.93 acres in size.
Dillon and Murphy Engineering of Lodi, requested deep percolation tests for the four Parcels
and the Designated Remainder for completion of the Soil Suitability Study. These borings were
drilled at the requested location, shown to us on the subject property on the day of drilling, to
be the location of the proposed future septic disposal areas.
The drilling of the five (5) deep soil borings was conducted on August 2, 2009 using a truck
mounted auger. The soil log is shown in the following table and was consistent across the
entire site.
Soil Boring Log
_ Depth Interval (ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-10 Moist, light tan silt ML
10-12 Moist, grey elastic sandy silt SM
12-15 Moist, brown silty sand SP
15-21 Moist, brown clay with sand CL
21-25 Moist, brown clayey sand SC
Note: Conditions were comparable across entire site in each boring.
Within the borings, about an inch of"pea gravel"was placed in the bottom of the hole to
stabilize the side wall from caving and prevent erosion while filling the boring. A 2-inch diameter
PVC pipe with open ends and slots was placed in the holes. About 6-inches of pea gravel was
placed in the annular space around the pipe.
ANGELS CAMP • LODI • MODESTO • RENO • SACRAMENTO • WALNUT CREEK
L 0 D 1 902 Industrial Way • Lodi,CA 95240 209.367.3701 • FAX 209.369.4228 www.noanderson.com
