COUNTY OF SAN JOAQUIN <br />OFFICE OF EMERGENCY SERVICES <br />ROOM 610, COURTHOUSE <br />222 EAST WEBER AVENUE <br />STOCKTON, CA 95202 <br />TELEPHONE (209) 468-3962 <br />HAZARDOUS MATERIALS DIVISION (209) 468-3969 <br />February 10, 2005 <br />MEMORANDUM <br />TO: Kevin Swanson, Community Development Department <br />.D <br />FROM: De s Fields, Office of Emergency Services <br />SUBJECT: APPLICATION NUMBER PA -05-012 <br />If the business will handle or store hazardous materials such as gasoline, propane, compressed <br />gasses batteries, etc. at threshold reporting quantities (55 gallons liquid, 500 pounds solid, or 200 <br />cubic feet compressed gas), then the business will be required to complete and submit a <br />Hazardous Materials Management Plan (HMMP) to this office. The business will have 30 days <br />to complete the HMMP once a hazardous material arrives on site. <br />If the winery will handle extremely hazardous materials (Chlorine, Anhydrous Ammonia, <br />Sulphur Dioxide, etc.) in threshold reporting quantities, a Risk Management Plan will be <br />required before operations begin. <br />Please contact me at (209) 468-3969 if you have any questions. <br />DF/mh <br />
