Environmental Health Division requires a soil suitability/nitrate loading study incorporating <br /> proposed staff and customer use, indicating that the area is suitable for septic tank usage. <br /> This must be performed prior to issuance of building permits (San Joaquin County <br /> Development Title, Section 9-1105.2(d)). A nitrate loading study is required and a review <br /> fee of$445.00 must be paid at time of submittal to Environmental Health Division. <br /> The sewage disposal system shall comply with the on site sewage standards of San Joaquin <br /> County prior to approval. A percolation test that meets absorption rates of the manual of <br /> septic tank practice or E.P.A. Design Manual for onsite wastewater treatment and disposal <br /> system is required for each parcel. A permit fee of$89.00 per percolation hole is required. <br /> B. The existing private water wells shall be tested for the chemical dibromochloropropane <br /> (DBCP) and nitrates prior to issuance of building permit(s). Samples are to be taken and <br /> analyzed by a State-approved laboratory. (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section <br /> 9-1115.7). <br /> C. Based on findings of Soil Suitability Study, construction of individual sewage-disposal- <br /> system(s)under permit and inspection by the Environmental Health Division is required at <br /> the time of development (San Joaquin County Development Title, Section 9-1110.3 &9- <br /> 1110.4). <br /> D. State on revised site plans the maximum number of employees and customers the sewage <br /> disposal system is being designed for. In addition, show on revised plans that the leach field <br /> area will be barricaded so it cannot be driven over, parked on, or used as a storage area.
