The Assessor's Parcel Number is APN 063-
270-80. The property is approximately 11.42 acres in size.
Dillon & Murphy Engineering of Lodi, requested deep percolation tests for Parcel one and the
Designated Remainder for completion of the Soil Suitability Study. These borings were drilled at
the requested location, shown to us on the subject property on the day of drilling, to be the
location of the proposed future septic disposal area.
The drilling of the shallow and two deep soil borings was conducted on March 19, 2008 using a 3
truck mounted auger. The soil log is shown in the following table.
Soil Boring Lo
Depth Interval (ft) Soil Type Unified Soil Classification
0-1 Moist, dark brown silty clay CL
1-6 Brown silty sand with some clay SM
6-8 Dark brown silty clay CL
8-13 Brown clayey silt SM
13-20 Brown silty sand with some clay SM
20-25 Brown sandy silt SM
Note: Conditions were comparable in both deep and shallow soil borings.
Within the borings, about an inch of"pea gravel"was placed in the bottom of the hole to
_ stabilize the side wall from caving and prevent erosion while filling the boring. A 2-inch diameter
PVC pipe with open ends and slots was placed in the holes. About 6-inches of pea gravel was
placed in the annular space around the pipe.
_ LODI • SACRAMENTO • RENO • MODESTO • WALNUT CREEK
I ODI 902 Industrial Wav • Lodi.CA 95240 • 209.367.3701 • PAX 209-333-8303 • www.noanders-on.com
