One 7.5-minute map dated 1968 was available through Microsoft <br /> LTerraserver. <br /> L In the 1968 map, the subject property is depicted as open land. A canal defines its western boundary. <br /> Middle Paddy Creek is to the north of the subject property and Jack Tone Road is along the eastern <br /> boundary.The property is depicted as approximately 75 to 80 feet above mean sea level and sloping <br /> L down to the west at a rate of approximately ten feet per mile. Surrounding land is open with scattered <br /> residences. A well is located on the northeastern portion of the subject property. <br /> ' This map is included in Appendix C of this report. <br /> V <br /> 2.4 Interviews <br /> LAn attempt was made to obtain historical as well as current information relative to the subject property <br /> from the property owner or key site manager of the property. An Environmental Questionnaire and <br /> { Disclosure Statement was completed by Madalena Moules,owner of the subject property,on March 2, <br /> 2006. A copy of her responses has been included in this report as Appendix E. <br /> In her responses to the questionnaire,Ms.Moules indicated that she acquired the property in 2005 from <br /> Mr. and Mrs.Speegle,who reside in the mobile home on the property. To the best of her knowledge, <br /> the property has been used as pasture and oats for the last twenty-two years. <br /> (z � J <br /> L At the time of the site visit Mr. and Mrs. Speegle'indicated that there were approximately thirty cows <br /> on the property until last year. The land has been used for pasture and agricultural purposes for over <br /> seventy years. Mrs. Speegle was raised on the adjacent parcel and stated the only chemical applied to <br /> �+ the property has been Roundup. <br /> L3.0 PAST AND CURRENT SOURCES OF CONTAMINATION <br /> 3.1 Research Methods <br /> LNOA employs a standard practice for review of database information. On a street map showing the <br /> location of the subject property,a circle is drawn one-quarter mile out from the property boundaries, <br /> and street maps or web-based mapping services are then used to determine address ranges for all streets <br /> L within the quarter mile.
