6. `/ 'ft / a K L E I N F E L D E R him ASSUMPTION AND CLIENT RESPONSIBILITIES h. The proposed scope of services and estimated budget are based on the following: • The.cover letter(attached) is an integral part of this proposal. • The client will provide Kleinfelder with the authorization to access the site. The client will provide a written right of entry authorization,if requested. _ • The client is responsible for providing an accurate map delineating site boundaries. If site boundaries are not clearly marked in the field, then it is the client's responsibility to arrange for such. L • The site visit for the Phase I ESA can be conducted in one day. If the site visit cannot be completed in one day, additional fees will be incurred. • Sampling and analysis are not included in the scope of services. • Two copies of the report of findings will be delivered to the client. • Client meetings and revisions to the ESA report are not included in the budget estimate, but can be provided on a time and materials basis at the client's request. r • The review of regulatory agency files is limited to the site and adjacent facilities only. If regulatory agency file reviews for additional sites are recommended, then client will be contacted for authorization of additional fees. This proposal and our associated fee are based on use of Kleinfelder's attached contract. Use of a client provided contract, may cause delays due to upper management review of ` the contract as well as an increase in our fees in the event that the terms and conditions are significantly different. • Client to provide preliminary title report which lists existing easements and current ownership or a 50-year Chain-of-Title (optional under ASTM. If Kleinfelder is asked to obtain this information, additional expenses will be incurred. 6. • Review of the 50-Year Chain-of-Title will consume less than 3 hours of professional time. If the review takes more time, additional fees will be incurred. FEE AND SCHEDULE Kleinfelder can perform the described scope of work for a fee of$3,800 on a lump sum basis, and will be completed approximately 4 to 6 weeks from the date we receive you acceptance of this proposal. If additional investigative efforts or sampling and analysis are recommended based upon our research, a separate scope of work, schedule, and budget will be submitted for your approval.
