- Hogan Residence <br /> Page 1 <br /> INTRODUCTION AND PROJECT SCOPE <br /> At the request of Rick Hogan, Construction Testing and Engineering, Inc. (CTE) <br /> has prepared this Soil Suitability Study for the property located at 20033 South <br /> Jacktone Road in Ripon, California. This report presents the results of the <br /> investigation of the subject site with respect to sewage handling practices. <br /> The purpose of this report was to gather available information concerning past and <br /> present sewage handling practices at the subject site. The information is used to <br /> determine if the proposed site is suitable to support the proposed septic system and <br /> to evaluate potential impacts to ground water quality that may occur. The <br /> information presented in this report is intended for use during the subdividing of <br /> a 5-acre homesite from the 25-acre parcel. <br /> During the investigation inquires were made at the appropriate governmental <br /> agencies and applicable regulatory lists and files were reviewed. A field <br /> reconnaissance of the properties adjacent to the study site was performed. <br /> SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The subject site, consisting of approximately 25 acres, is located at 20033 South <br /> Jacktone Road in Ripon, California (Figure 1) . The property is described on the <br /> Tentative Parcel Map prepared by Aspen Survey as being: <br /> _ Portions of Lot 15 and Lot 16 of Latta-Norton Tract as shown in Book 4 <br /> of Maps and Plates, at Page 20 San Joaquin County Records and Lying <br /> in the NE 1/4 of Section 12, Township 2 south, Range 7 east. <br /> M.D.B.and M. <br /> The subject site is currently used as an almond orchard. A mobile home consisting <br /> of a front and back yard, access road, driveway, and a workshop is present on the <br /> site. A private water well provides water to the mobile home. The subject site is <br /> bounded by other similar farm-type properties and single family residences on all <br /> sides. The density of the surrounding development is low. <br />
