LIGHTING: Lighting shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) If the parking area is to be used at night, parking lot and security lighting shall be <br /> installed. (Development Title Section 9-1015.5[gj) <br /> (2) Any lighting shall be designed to confine direct rays to the premises. No <br /> spillover beyond the property lines shall be permitted except onto public <br /> thoroughfares, provided, however, that such light shall not cause a hazard to <br /> motorists. (Development Title Section 9-101 5,5[g][4]) <br /> h. LANDSCAPING: Landscaping shall be provided and comply with the following: <br /> (1) All areas not used for buildings, parking, driveways, walkways, approved outdoor <br /> storage areas, or other permanent facilities shall be landscaped. <br /> (2) Areas of the property which are not part of the project shall be barricaded from <br /> traffic and kept mowed and dust free. (Development Title Section 9-1020) <br /> i. The following Uniform Fire Code and San Joaquin County Ordinance Code requirements <br /> will be applicable and shall be incorporated in the construction plans before submittal to <br /> the Community Development Department for a building permit: <br /> (1) Fire flow will be provided for proposed buildings by the use of public water mains <br /> (Appendix Ill-A of the Uniform Fire Code). <br /> (2) Fire hydrants shall be supplied in accordance with Appendix ill-B of the Uniform <br /> Fire Code. <br /> (3) Fire sprinkler systems shall be installed according to Article 10 of the California <br /> Fire Code and the appropriate standards and guides adopted in Chapter 35 of <br /> the California Building Code and the California Electrical Code. <br /> (4) All valves controlling the water supply for automatic fire sprinkler systems and <br /> water-flow switches shall be monitored in accordance with Section 904.3.1 of the <br /> California Fire Code. <br /> (5) Fire department access roads shall be in accordance with Section 902.2 of the <br /> California Fire Code and the standards adopted by the San Joaquin County Fire <br /> Chiefs Association. <br /> (6) Fire department access to buildings shall be in accordance with Section 902.4. <br /> A knox box shall be installed according to fire department instructions. <br /> (7) ' Fire extinguishers shall be installed in accordance with the Califomia Fire Code, <br /> Volume 2, Standard 10-1. <br /> (8) Fire permits may be required prior to occupancy to conduct operations <br /> hazardous to life or property (California Fire Code Section 105.2.1). <br /> (9) Mechanical refrigeration systems shall comply with all applicable codes <br /> (ammonia, etc.). <br /> 2.
